Nickname Registration
Welcome to HybridIRC's nickname registration page. Registering a nickname is completely FREE. Register your nickname means, that no one on the whole server, no matter which channel, is able to use your nickname except only you. To ensure, that only you may use the nickname, you will choose a password which identifies you, but if you do not use it within a year your nickname will expire and drop. When this happens any channel access you have, including channels you own under that nickname will also be lost or automatically transferred to the first channel successor if one exists.
In addition to protecting your nicknames from unauthorised use, NickServ allows you to save settings for things like channels and other services. Registering your nickname even allows you to send offline messages to other registered users and receive messages or memos while offline.
You will also be able to upload an avatar via KiwiIRC, enhancing your identity on the network. This feature allows you to personalize your profile, making your interactions more engaging and distinctive.
